SunFest 2014: What To Do and Where To Stay

When was the last time that you attended a music festival? I’m not talking about hearing a band at your favorite Clematis Street club or that band that plays at the food truck rally. I’m talking full blown music festival with five days of your favorite bands, outdoors, with family activities and music for the ENTIRE family. That’s right…I’m talking about SUNFEST!

This West Palm Beach tradition has been delighting music lovers for thirty-two years, with each year seeming to top the one prior. Set outdoors along the waterfront of Flagler Drive in West Palm, the 2014 Sunfest is expected to attract over 165,000 visitors. The line-up this year is stellar, with over fifty bands slated to play on multiple stages, a juried art show, a youth park for the little ones, Kid’s Day at the fest, and an amazing fireworks show set to music that will make you oooh and ahhh as it lights up the South Florida sky.

SunFest 2013 FireworksThis year’s line-up provides music for ALL ages. From the surf sounds of Dick Dale to Kid Rock, Ellie Goulding, Robin Thicke, Pretty Lights, The Goo Goo Dolls, Young the Giant, J. Cole, Alice In Chains, Sublime with Rome, Daughtry, Doobie Brothers, Austin Mahone, Dropkick Murphys, Rebelution, Dirty Heads, Cake, Justin Moore, David Nail, Josh Thompson, The Bangles, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Blues Traveler, The Wailers, Streetlight Manifesto, Rusted Root, Inner Circle and Conway.

There will be dancing in the streets (literally)! With music and merriment happening through the evening hours, why not party all night without having to worry about driving and dealing with Sunfest parking by staying at the nearby West Palm Beach Marriott? You’ll eliminate the parking and traffic and spend 5-days having the time of your life.
